Job summary

RAM Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Property Manager to guide the team and ensure the community runs smoothly in Fredericksburg, VA. You will oversee staff, rent collection, budgeting, and resident relations while ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and knowledge of tax credit programs, with competitive compensation and benefits offered by RAM Partners, LLC.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Industry software experience (YARDI, OneSite, etc.).
  • Tax credit experience is highly required.
  • Property management experience is preferred.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee hiring, training, supervising, and motivating the property staff
  • Manage the community’s revenue and expenses to ensure the budget and financial guidelines are met
  • Maintain accurate resident records, post all rent, deposits, and fees, and all A/P functions
  • Follow all policies and procedures for compliance with staff and residents
  • Complete building inspections and take appropriate action to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet standards
  • Follow up on service requests with the maintenance team and ensure residents’ requests have been completed
  • Promote resident satisfaction by serving as a resource for residents to express their concerns and assist with resolution
  • Perform required reporting and administrative tasks with attention to detail
  • Receive, process, and maintain initial housing applications for LIHTC, Public Housing, and Site-Based Section 8 programs.
  • Ensure completion of annual and interim income certifications, as needed.

$80,000 to $88,000 annually
