Job summary

Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC seeks a seasoned property manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of class A & B suburban office properties located in Allentown, Fort Washington, Horsham and Bensalem, PA. The main office is in Fort Washington.

The role requires five years of commercial property management experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and property management software such as Yardi or MRI. A valid driver’s license is required for travel.

Qualifications

• BA degree required and minimum five years in commercial property management.
• Experience with day-to-day operations of multi-tenant office buildings and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with real estate accounting software such as Yardi or MRI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation and maintenance of the property.
• Delegate and oversee Property Assistant.
• Facilitate vendor service and manage construction contracts.
• Oversee major repairs and construction projects including tenant and building improvements.
• Direct the activities of in-house site and administrative staff and evaluate their performance.
• Communicate with tenants and deliver high level of customer service.
• Prepare annual property budgets, including capital improvements.
• Process invoicing and collection of rents and other charges.
• Adopt and adhere to the properties’ operating policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations; recommend actions for lease/contract violations.
• Prepare CAM estimates and perform CAM reconciliations.
• Review, analyze, and report on financial/operational performance; participate in senior management meetings.
• Train, mentor and direct personnel and evaluate performance.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage the operation and maintenance of the property;
• Delegate and oversee Property Assistant;
• Facilitate vendor service and manage construction contracts;
• Oversee major repairs and construction projects including tenant and building improvements;
• Direct the activities of in-house site and administrative staff and evaluating their performance;
• Communicate with tenants and deliver a high level of customer service;

• Train, mentor and direct activities of personnel and evaluate their performance.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally.

• High proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

• Yardi, Payscan, MRI Angus, and Kardin knowledge a plus.
• Accounting background a plus.

Qualifications

The position requires a BA degree and a minimum of five years’ prior experience as a commercial property manager. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to pay close attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a working knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a multi-tenant office building. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and real estate accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, or similar accounting software is required. Familiarity with Kardin, and Angus are a plus.
