Job summary

Sage Ventures in the Baltimore/Washington region seeks a Property Manager to oversee site staff, daily operations, and asset value enhancement. You will implement policies, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and vendor activities to ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting to the Regional Manager, and supervising leasing and maintenance teams. Strong communication, organization, and leadership are essential for success in this role at our growing firm.

Position Summary

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing site employees, daily operations, and increasing the overall value of the asset. This includes timely implementation of policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Employee Management of Assistant Manager, Leasing, and Maintenance Teams
  • Hold staff accountable for all responsibilities
  • Hire and develop team
  • Create schedules
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Implement realistic and attainable goals
  • Lead and motive team to ensure goals are achieved
• Creation and oversight of budget
• Timely reporting and communication with Regional Manager
• Oversight of all third-party inspections
• Oversight of renovation projects
• Other duties as necessary in-order-to maintain the property and to meet resident needs
• Serve as backup for any roles at the property, as needed

Requirements

• Minimum two years of property management experience required
• Experience with leasing
• Experience managing a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, YARDI or other property management software
