Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee daily operations of our Senior Suites at Garfield Ridge. You will serve as the main point of contact for staff, residents and community partners, ensuring high service standards and compliance with regulations.

You will hire, train and supervise on-site staff, manage the property budget and occupancy, coordinate maintenance, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or hospitality management within senior housing is required.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate activities across departments.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to listen attentively and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 and handle emergencies or financial inquiries.

Job Description

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience of management in the Hospitality or Senior Housing industries
• You currently have a valid Driver's license.
• You are able to professionally communicate and listen to residents, guests, and coworkers.
• You are able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents.
• You have great management skills and a willingness and desire to work harmoniously with all staff members.
• You are able to express compassion and patience with your work, even when your job is stressful at times.
• You are willing to be on call 24/7 and be the main point of contact for a property’s financials and emergencies.
• You have excellent computer skills and are able to learn and navigate different software and applications easily.
