The Property Management Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for the Infrastructure Land Rights Management (ILM) Division. The position is responsible for managing the division's workload, establishing priorities, reviewing staff work product, ensuring compliance with departmental and County requirements, and supporting timely completion of complex real estate transactions.
ILM provides real estate and land‑rights services primarily in support of the Flood Control District and Maricopa County Department of Transportation, as well as other County departments and public‑agency partners. The division's responsibilities include the management and disposition of excess real property; preparation, negotiation, and administration of easements, leases, licenses, rights‑of‑entry, permits and intergovernmental agreements; investigation and resolution of encroachments and unauthorized uses of County or District property; and research and analysis of property ownership, title easement, and other land rights matters.
The Supervisor provides technical guidance on complex real estate matters; reviews transaction documents and supporting materials for accuracy, completeness, and consistency; oversees project documentation, Land Management System records, and project closeout; and ensures items requiring Board of Supervisors/Directors action are complete and submitted in accordance with established deadlines and procedures.
The position works extensively with County departments, the Flood Control District (FCD), Department of Transportation (MCDOT), municipalities utility providers, property owners, title companies, consultants, and state and federal agencies to identify issues, coordinate solutions, and advance County infrastructure and property management objectives.
The Maricopa County Real Estate Department partners with County departments and agencies to acquire and manage real property and facilities needed to support County operations and infrastructure.
The Department manages the lifecycle of County real property, including acquisitions, leases, licenses, property rights, dispositions, and related real estate agreements, and maintains the associated data in its designated land and document management systems.
We are a team of collaborative, results‑driven professionals who are building a stronger Maricopa County.
