Job summary

JLL seeks an Intern in Property Management in San Francisco, CA, to learn core functions such as invoicing, tenant experience, and lease administration. You will code invoices, manage rent statements, collect payments, and support budget planning while gaining exposure to daily property operations.

The program emphasizes initiative, relationship building, and teamwork, with a path toward professional growth in commercial real estate. Onsite internship with full-time hours during summer.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with 2–3 years completed in business or related field.
• Interest in property management.

Responsibilities

• Process and code all accounts payable invoices at the property per established schedules.
• Ensure invoices are paid on time and review past due invoices for proper payment.
• Send rent statements to tenants in a timely manner per accounting calendar.
• Collect rent and minimize accounts receivable balances at the property.
• Provide lease administration services including lease abstraction and file maintenance.
• Track Certificates of Insurance; notify tenants/vendors of expirations.
• Maintain COI spreadsheet detailing insured parties and policy expirations.
• Generate contracts for services at the property as directed by the GM.
• Complete assigned financial reporting tasks for client requirements.
• Assist GM in annual asset plan and budget preparation.
• Provide QA on contracted vendors as requested by GM.
• Participate in the property's Team Emergency Response Plan.
• Assist Move-In/Move-Out processes.
• Answer phones and greet visitors.
• Administer tenant relations programs, including tenant events.
• Handle tenant maintenance issues and urgent matters with GM escalation as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the GM within administrative expectations.
