Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Intern in Property Management in New York to learn core property management tasks and support tenant relations. You will gain hands-on experience with invoicing, lease administration, and financial reporting under the mentorship of a General Manager.

The program runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, onsite in New York, with permanent US work authorization required and no visa sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years completed in business or related field.
• Interest in property management.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Ability to develop relationships and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Process and code all accounts payable invoices at the property per established schedules.
• Send out rent statements to tenants according to the accounting calendar.
• Provide lease administration services including lease abstraction and file maintenance.
• Track and maintain Certificates of Insurance; notify tenants and vendors of expired COIs.
• Generate contracts for services at the property per direction of the General Manager.
• Complete assigned financial reporting tasks in support of client requirements.
• Assist the General Manager in preparing the annual asset plan and budget.
