Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Orlando, FL is offering a Property Management Summer 2027 Internship. The role covers accounts payable, rent collection, lease administration, COI tracking, vendor management, and financial reporting.

It provides exposure to asset planning, tenant relations, and teamwork in a fast-paced CRE environment. The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027 on-site in Orlando.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed in business or related field.
• Interest in property management.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Ability to develop relationships and solve problems.
• Work independently with minimal direction and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process and code accounts payable invoices at the property per schedule.
• Ensure invoices are paid on time; review past due invoices.
• Send rent statements to tenants according to accounting calendar.
• Collect rent and minimize accounts receivable at the property.
• Provide lease administration including abstraction and file maintenance.
• Track COI certificates and notify tenants/vendors of expiry.
• Maintain COI spreadsheet detailing insured and expiry dates.
• Generate service contracts at direction of General Manager.
• Assist in financial reporting tasks for client requirements.
• Help prepare annual asset plan and budget with GM.
• Quality-check contracted vendors as requested.
• Participate in Team Emergency Response Plan and Move-In/Move-Out procedures.
• Answer phones and greet visitors; support tenant relations events.
• Handle tenant issues and urgent maintenance requests to GM as needed.
