Job summary

Avison Young is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager and Director, Property Management with administrative and building operations tasks. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, monitor maintenance, assist with budgeting and reporting, and ensure contractual compliance across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes client service, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to improving property performance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of property accounting and financial data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of assets including custodial, life-safety, engineering, and site services.
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance program and monitor tenant requests.
• Prepare and distribute tenant communications; manage contracts and log contract details.
• Ensure timely completion of site documentation and financial reports.
