Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks an Assistant Manager to support daily property operations in Belmont, CA. You will oversee file management, reporting, resident requests, leases, and move-ins/outs while ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide courteous responses to resident requests and apply customer service best practices.
• Collect monies due and monitor evictions, skips, and move-outs by inspecting units.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during eviction proceedings.
• Finalize move-in/out and renewals files; input data into property management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are show-ready and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Coordinate with apartment locators and local businesses to share information.
• Conduct outreach marketing and competitor property scouting.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances to management.
