Job summary

MAA Greater Heights in Houston is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead leasing and day-to-day operations of a multifamily community.

You will collect rents, process deposits, perform move-out inspections, coordinate with residents, and support leasing activities while maintaining high standards of service.

The role emphasizes organization, people skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Assistant Property Manager and/or Leasing experience.
• Bookkeeping skills and/or experience.
• High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including collections of delinquent accounts.
• Post income and deposits; inspect apartment homes after move-out.
• Sales and customer service with current and prospective residents.
• Lease apartments; office management and support.
