Job summary

Country Club Meadows Apartments in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, including accurate reporting of rents, deposits and fees, and to assume responsibilities during the Manager’s absence.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail in accounting, leasing, and marketing activities, plus adherence to Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in property management.
• Skills in accounting, sales, customer service and marketing required.
• Knowledge of computer and office communication systems required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Forty hours per week required; weekends and early evenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate resident records and updates rents, deposits and fees daily.
• Deposit all receipts prior to bank close each day.
• Issue notices for late payments, evictions, or returned memos.
• Track delinquent rents, prepare collection letters and notices.
• Coordinate eviction process and prepare resident files for submission.
• Opens, dates stamps and prepares invoices for approval.
• Trains leasing staff on office procedures.
• Maintain positive customer relations and inspect property for maintenance needs.
• Prepare renewal letters and leases; update information in systems.
• Maintain Unit Availability List and assist with marketing and leasing duties.
