Job summary

Wisconsin Lakefront Property Management LLC in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Accountant to join our team. You will own balance sheets, perform bank reconciliations, and contribute to timely financial reporting for our portfolio of properties.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate or property management preferred) and are proficient with Rent Manager or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 2+ years accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
• Proficiency in property management or accounting software (Rent Manager preferred; QuickBooks helpful).

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain each business balance sheet with monthly bank reconciliations.
• Audit day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL entries.
• Manage accounting for new construction projects including data entry and bill payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budget variance reports, and property-level reporting.
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasting for managed properties.
• Support year-end close processes and assist with tax documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and property management regulations.
