Job summary

Mills Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and maintain the condition of an assigned property portfolio. You will respond to residents’ maintenance requests, perform repairs, and help keep units ready for new residents while ensuring safety, comfort, and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Previous Construction/Maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents’ requests for maintenance/repairs and complete any needed follow-up work in a timely manner
• Perform maintenance and upkeep duties to maintain safety, comfort, and aesthetics of the properties
• Perform delegated maintenance repair work as directed by supervisor
• Perform apartment turnover work to make units ready for new residents following checklists and deadlines
• Maintain inventory
• Operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment
• Greet and communicate with residents onsite at the properties
• Be available for periodic after hours calls to respond to emergencies only
• Travel to surrounding areas to complete maintenance duties
