Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, efficient service to residents on-site. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to handle repairs, turnover tasks, and preventive maintenance for the property, while maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the site.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.
• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• Maintenance experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, appliances, and other aspects as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Common area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, and cleaning windows.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters, etc. issues.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance program within area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment and structures in area of expertise.
• Record newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules.
