Job summary

ALCO Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations of our properties by performing general repairs, completing requests, and maintaining records.

The role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and teamwork to keep properties safe, functional, and compliant with standards. You will inspect systems, respond to resident requests, coordinate with vendors, and help train staff as needed, while upholding safety and quality across all sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications or associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience in multi-family or residential properties is a plus.
• Knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and vendor coordination.
• Proficient with maintenance software (Yardi, Building Engines) and MS Office; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and perform preventative maintenance for safety and functionality.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with vendor and contractor coordination for repairs and services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspections.
• Conduct routine checks of building systems and complete maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with Community Managers to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and reorder as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory standards.
