Greystar is hiring a Service Technician for the Sorella property in Charlotte, NC. The role involves technical and mechanical work to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to Greystar standards.

Location is Charlotte, NC; Property Name: Sorella, Property Type: Mid-Rise, Stage: Lease Up, Unit Count: 335. Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating on-call. The job includes on-site duties and safety/regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification is required.
• State and local certifications as required for all Service Technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Track materials, inventory, and return unused items to set locations; inform supervisor for re-orders.
• Document work and service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds and amenity upkeep, including cleaning, painting curbs, and debris removal.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
