Job summary

Megan Properties Management is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across properties in Willis, TX. You will document work orders, address safety issues, and coordinate with the Property Manager on budgets and ongoing needs.

The role involves preparing units for tours, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with housing laws and company standards. A valid driver’s license and physical ability are required.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience including appliances, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot maintenance issues and repairs.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and safety procedures.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests in a timely and safe manner with priority to health and safety.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
• Document work performed on the service request form.
• Inspect HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems during site visits.
• Coordinate with Property Manager on budgets and planning for improvements.
• Prepare vacant units for move-ins and tour readiness, including lock changes and trash-out.
• Monitor contractors to ensure work is completed as directed.
• Keep grounds tidy and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
