Galman Group in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our residential property team. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, make-readies, and upkeep of all common areas and units.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience required.
• Ability to work on-call shifts.
• Owns personal tools and reliable vehicle (driver’s license required).
• HVAC certification and experience preferred.
• Plumbing skills, electrical skills, and carpentry skills expected.
• Basic understanding of computers and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and fixtures.
• Make-readies, move heavy items, and coordinate with senior staff to meet deadlines.
• Respond to maintenance requests and safety issues promptly and safely.
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and supplies; report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
