Job summary

Birchstone Residential seeks a Service Technician to handle day-to-day maintenance at the assigned community in Orlando, FL. You will perform regular and preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with capital improvement projects.

The role requires attention to safety, code compliance, and resident-ready units. Applicants should have a high school diploma, six months of maintenance experience, and knowledge of drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months maintenance experience required.
• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of drywall, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, appliances, HVAC, and lock changes.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with Service Manager to review service requests and plan repairs.
• Execute regular and preventative maintenance per Birchstone standards.
• Complete service requests, repairs, and improvements; ensure code compliance.
• Identify and repair issues across carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Support make-ready processes within budget and timelines.
• Inspect community daily to maintain Birchstone standards and safety.
• Maintain inventory and assist with special maintenance projects and capital improvements.
• Work on-call to respond to resident or property emergencies.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and timely.
