Mark-Taylor is seeking a Service Technician at The Palms on Scottsdale in Tempe to help maintain apartment communities and provide five‑star service. The role covers repairs, make‑ready tasks, and safety‑driven upkeep across the community, with on‑call rotation and certification pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service-oriented attitude and basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn technician/make-ready/work order technician preferred.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Perform maintenance on vacant units.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance.
• Complete minor roof repairs and re-key locks.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and report to Manager.
• Share on-call duty with Facilities Manager and service team.
• Monitor inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
