Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Lead Service Technician for The Palms on Scottsdale in Tempe, AZ. You will handle maintenance repairs, support make-ready units, and provide five-star service to our apartment communities.

The role requires advanced knowledge in trades, industry certifications, and a customer-focused approach. We offer on-site work, on-call rotation, and robust benefits including 401(k) matching and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry and OSHA standards.
• One or more industry certifications (EPA, HVAC or CPO).
• Service oriented with basic computer skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor AC/ heating, appliance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and drywall issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks and cut keys.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and report to the Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on-call duty and stay ready in uniform/badge when needed.
