Job summary

Yarco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in repairs and preventive maintenance across the property, including residential units, public spaces, grounds, and equipment. Daily inspections ensure a neat, safe, and well-maintained community.

The role requires hands-on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work, making units market-ready, and coordinating with on-site staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• 1 year of residential property maintenance experience.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification and boiler certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and work with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across the property.
• Maintain property appearance with daily interior and exterior inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Make Ready: bring units to market-ready condition; some painting.
• Maintain laundry rooms to company guidelines.
• Pool maintenance and daily chemical inspections (if applicable).
• Provide resident service and be available for on-call emergencies; perform other duties as needed.
