Job summary

Hayes Gibson Property Services in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general property systems. This full-time role emphasizes safety, resident comfort, and proactive upkeep.

You will respond to work orders, perform routine and preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. On-call for emergencies, with opportunities for growth and benefits as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

Experience in general maintenance work, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Customer service focus with prompt, professional responses to resident requests.
Prior maintenance or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair & Maintain: routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related equipment.
Troubleshoot & Fix: diagnose issues from work orders and complete repairs.
Inspect & Report: conduct regular property inspections and address concerns.
Safety & Compliance: ensure all work meets safety regulations and company standards.
