Property Maintenance Technician - Full Time

Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the community and its amenities are well-maintained. Responsibilities include building repairs, groundskeeping, facility cleanliness, and utility system maintenance. The role involves providing excellent customer service to residents and staff, including assisting with new resident orientations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness
  • Perform landscaping and groundskeeping tasks
  • Manage trash removal and site upkeep
  • Carry out minor repairs and cleaning of facilities
  • Assist with supervision of service contractors
  • Inspect recreational amenities and perform safety checks
  • Respond to snow removal needs, if applicable
  • Maintain water and sewer systems, pools, and other utilities
  • Follow safety procedures and operate equipment safely
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of grounds and maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or commercial maintenance is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, clean record, insurance
  • Knowledge of maintenance techniques, plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in seasonal weather
  • Good communication, basic computer skills, availability for on-call
Working Conditions

Primarily outdoors, operating tools and machinery, exposed to seasonal temperatures. We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
