Job summary

MaineGuide is seeking a dependable Handyman to service commercial and residential properties in the Brunswick/Topsham area. This part-time role may grow to full-time with negotiable pay based on skills and experience. Ideal for entry-level workers, experienced techs, or retired tradespeople seeking flexible hours.

You will perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across diverse spaces to keep facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and tenants.

Qualifications

• Own a complete set of standard hand and power tools.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Active COI (Certificate of Insurance) required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial and residential properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring systems.
• Manage tenant work orders with clear, timely communication.
• Execute turn-key turnover procedures for vacant units.
• Perform mini-split HVAC tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
• Install and repair appliances using appropriate tools.
• Oversee exterior maintenance and seasonal projects to boost curb appeal.
