J&D Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our in-house property management team. You'll perform apartment maintenance, building repairs, and facility upkeep to keep properties safe and functional.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC filter changes, reading schematics, updating CMMS work orders, and delivering professional tenant service. Reliable, safety‑conscious applicants with basic tools and transportation are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maintenance tech or building repair role.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ohmmeter a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety practices preferred.
• English communication skills; Spanish a plus.
• Reliable transportation and basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans).
• Handle basic plumbing tasks (unclog drains, replace fixtures, repair toilet components).
• Change HVAC filters and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out general building repairs and paint touch-ups.
• Read schematics and manuals to guide repairs.
• Log and update work orders in CMMS.
• Provide prompt, professional service to tenants.
• Work independently while following schedules.
