Landmark Properties in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the community’s maintenance program and protect the asset’s value. The role is customer-service driven and requires collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain interior and exterior conditions.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect the property daily, and assist with repairs and operations while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with the maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Understand needs and expectations of residents and exceed them.
• Develop a sense of community among residents and staff.
• Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents.
• Maintain a positive community environment for residents and associates and encourage participation in events.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn.
• Ensure service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce safety, emergency, and fire evacuations policies and procedures.
