Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as assistant director or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities and routine maintenance.
• Fix minor issues like broken locks and wall gaps.
• Inspect electrical panels and identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Maintain gardens and grounds.
• Replace light bulbs and other routine upkeep.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Check safety systems (e.g., fire alarm).
• Collaborate with contractors during renovations.
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager.
