Job summary

Inclusive Housing Resources (IHR) in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support occupied residential properties. You'll follow a predictable Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm schedule and work with a company vehicle and provided tools.

Join a mission‑driven team focused on safe, well‑maintained homes. You’ll perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repairs, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize work orders while working independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of hands-on residential or building maintenance experience.
• Practical knowledge in two or more skilled trades.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical, hands-on work.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders across multiple housing locations.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliances.
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently and make quality repairs the first time.

• Pay: $20-$30/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of hand-on residential or building maintenance experience with consistent employment history
• Practical knowledge in two or more skilled trades
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical, hand-on work
• Proven record of reliable attendance and completing work as scheduled
• Valid driver's license (fewer than 6 points) and ability to pass a background check
