Job summary

The Hagerstown Housing Authority is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair rental units, equipment and buildings. The successful candidate will have property maintenance experience and perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as issues arise.

Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, and pass random drug screening. The role includes paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and a company-matched retirement fund, with health insurance after union

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training helpful.
• Prefer 1 year experience as Maintenance Mechanic.
• Ability to maintain grounds and repair rental units, equipment, buildings.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
