Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Language Skills – read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions.
• Math Skills – basic arithmetic.
• Reasoning Skills – handle simple instructions and problems.
• Computer Skills – beginner MS Outlook and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and keep them below budget.
• Inspect community grounds every morning.
• Perform turn and maintenance of vacant units.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping and lawn.
• Remove snow from sidewalks.
• Maintain maintenance records for units and site.
• Keep tools, equipment, and parts in working condition.
• Provide and maintain personal tools.
• Clean common areas and supervise contractors.
• Provide emergency resident support after hours.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records for residents and apartments.
• Provide service for common amenities.
• Other duties as assigned.
