Job summary

FirstService Residential in Kansas City, MO is hiring maintenance technicians to handle contract work, installation, landscaping, and general repairs across our managed properties.

You will perform routine maintenance, follow safety procedures, manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors and management; the role offers full benefits, paid time off, 401(k) match, and opportunities across 8,500 properties in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years building trades experience.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of iPhone applications.

Responsibilities

• Work from instructions and complete daily work orders and required forms.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance replacement and repairs in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, etc.
• Paint common areas and touch up; inspect and advise on paint needs.
• Perform casual labor and safety procedures per supervision.
• Inspect daily and report maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies for repairs.
