Job summary

Seaside Vacation Homes is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to care for ~100 vacation homes and condos between Gearhart and Cannon Beach, with most in Seaside. This role focuses on professional home care, troubleshooting, and light repairs across well-kept properties.

You’ll diagnose issues, perform skilled work within your scope, and know when to involve specialists. Company vehicles and tools are provided; independent work with team support is common.

Qualifications

• Professional maintenance or home-care experience is preferred.
• Backgrounds in handyman services, property or apartment maintenance, construction, contracting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, inspection, facilities maintenance, or other skilled trades.
• Comfort using common tools such as a drill, multimeter, drywall tools, and basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and light home repairs.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing problems before replacing parts.
• Identifying work requiring a specialized contractor.
• Documenting completed work accurately on a laptop.
