Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a capable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance operations at the community, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and attractive surroundings while supervising staff and coordinating repairs.

Based in Miami, FL, the role requires 3–5 years of apartment maintenance with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance; EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years apartment maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure all service requests and work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and amenities.
• Inspect property grounds, common areas, vacant units, and building systems regularly.
• Coordinate and oversee apartment turns to ensure units are ready for occupancy.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and other building-related issues.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and parts.
• Obtain bids, coordinate services, and supervise outside contractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, local building codes, and company safety policies.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitor maintenance expenses.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.
• Support resident satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and professional interactions.
