About The Role

Property Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Hayton, near Retford

Pay rate: £30,900

Hours: 40 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Maintenance Supervisor based at Breagha House, Hayton, near Retford. Responsible to the Group Property Manager (North), the successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep of the site and surrounding provisions in the “Lincs North West” sub-region.

Key responsibilities:
  • Development and delivery of an efficient and effective planned and proactive property maintenance service.
  • Efficient and effective arrangements are in place to deal with any unplanned or emergency works required.
  • Ensuring that suitable arrangements are in place to effectively and safely manage all aspects of relevant property maintenance works undertaken by external contractors.
  • Completing and recording relevant auditory processes associated with the role. Reporting/resolving faults and hazards in a timely fashion.
  • Liaising with Care Home/School Managers regarding planned and reactionary works.
  • Work scheduling, including procuring materials, equipment, and plant when required, in accordance with Company Policy.
About You

What experience or qualifications would I need?

  • The ability to organise, oversee, and carry out maintenance repairs to property.
  • Previous experience organizing and supervising the work of external contractors and internal team operatives.
  • Experience working with property-related auditory inspections, compliance systems, and servicing regimes (e.g., boilers, fire equipment).
  • IT literacy, including MS Word/Excel, email, and electronic defect logging apps.
  • Previous trade experience, especially in joinery, is desirable but not essential; practical skills and flexibility are important.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, with a willingness to learn more about risk assessments and safe systems of work.
