Job summary

Vest Residential in Ladson, SC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to keep community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas up to Vest standards.

You will diagnose defects, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage safety and regulatory compliance, and lead a service team while coordinating with vendors and the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or related training.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• CPO certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance reflecting Vest standards.
• Inspects work of service team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and orders supplies within budget.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance as documented.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing parts when possible and using tools properly.
• Conducts safety meetings and ensures OSHA compliance.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Assists Community Manager with budget development for repairs and maintenance.
