Job summary

BNE Real Estate Group is hiring a Maintenance Associate to support day-to-day operations at The Piermont in Bergen County. The role focuses on maintaining property operations, delivering responsive resident services, and contributing as a flexible team player.

On-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating on-call hours for emergencies. Candidates should have basic maintenance skills and strong customer service abilities to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in property management maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar work-order software.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform routine repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, doors/locks, painting and make-readies).
• Conduct daily property walks and document issues for management.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and track supplies/inventory.
• Assist with snow removal and landscaping as needed; participate in rotating on-call schedule.
