Job summary

BNE Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Chatham, NJ. In this full-time role, you will handle day-to-day maintenance tasks, process work orders, perform make-readies, and support the turn schedule under supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Property Manager.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year of property maintenance or management experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi, strong customer service, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in property management and/or maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; well organized with excellent time management.
• Strong verbal skills and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in property management.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance service requests promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks in elevators, hallways and amenities.
• Maintain inventory lists for cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Inspect property daily and notify Managers of issues.
• Prep and paint apartments for turns and make-readies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety measures.
