The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years maintenance experience, and is able to perform carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks. A valid driver’s license is required.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience or training.
• Ability to diagnose problems and propose solutions related to building and facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance needs of the group home and manage capital projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Perform general building maintenance, repairs to walls/doors/windows, and upkeep of building utility systems.
• Complete minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and flooring projects.
• Coordinate seasonal maintenance needs such as lawn care and snowplowing.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and maintain accurate records of hours, invoices, licenses and service agreements.
• Respond to facility emergencies as necessary.
