Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a skilled, compassionate Property Maintenance team member to support a safe, resident-centered community.

The role includes security checks, cleaning, trash removal, carpet cleaning, event room setup, and door access tasks on a part-time weekend night shift. The position offers starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with potential for daytime hours, DailyPay access, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with an attitude of excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, walk long distances and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Making rounds to ensure the Community is secure
• Cleaning stairwells and other areas
• Emptying apartment trash and recycling
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets
• Setting up meeting rooms for events
• Delivering newspapers
• Unlocking doors
• Follow up as required for independent living pull cord notifications and smoke detectors
• General maintenance to ensure a safe and operationally sound community

Part-time Weekend Night Shift will work Friday and Saturday night from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

NOTE : This position may also have additional day shift work hours available during the week, if interested.

Pay: Starting from $20.00, increases with experience
