Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support our property operations in Delray Beach, FL. You will help ensure all mechanical systems and common areas are well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing for residents and visitors.

Your duties include inspections, routine repairs across drywall, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting, while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Ability to stay positive and diplomatic in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Boating experience with boater's safety class is preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine walking inspections of floors and report problems.
• Maintain work equipment in good working condition.
• Perform maintenance repairs in common areas (drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, pool, plumbing, painting, flooring).
• Follow safety precautions and procedures.
• Assist with moving heavy items as directed by supervisors.
• Perform maintenance replacements and repairs in various areas without a permit.
• Learn and use new equipment safely.
• Other duties as needed.
