Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Director in the Fort Worth, TX area. You will lead a maintenance team, ensure the physical condition of the community, and promote resident satisfaction while managing budgets and safety programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA/HVAC certifications, and 2–4 years of apartment maintenance experience. A valid driver's license and basic hand tools are needed. Yardi and Microsoft Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications are required.
• Yardi software experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook experience is required.
• 2–4 years of apartment maintenance or related trade experience are required.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members and mentor staff.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Lead preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with residents, investors, vendors, and leadership.
• Lead and participate in risk management and safety programs.
