Job summary

GHS Development LLC is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Assistant to join our growing property management team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This part-time role (24-32 hours per week) focuses on supporting maintenance across multiple properties.

You will pick up supplies, deliver materials, assist with turnovers and light repairs, landscaping, and seasonal tasks, while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be approved to drive under company insurance.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to operate company vehicles and basic maintenance tools.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in property maintenance or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up maintenance supplies, equipment, appliances, and materials from stores.
• Deliver materials to maintenance personnel and job sites.
• Transport personnel or equipment between properties as needed.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and make-ready projects.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks (bulbs, filters, batteries, assembly, painting).
• Perform general demolition work during renovations and maintenance projects.
• Clean up job sites and dispose of debris.
• Assist landscaping (mowing, edging, mulching, planting).
• Seasonal maintenance including snow removal and salting.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
• Maintain storage areas and company vehicles.
• Follow safety policies and represent the company professionally.
