American Campus Communities is seeking a Property Manager for The Block in Austin, TX. You will lead leasing, marketing, and facilities operations, directing a team to achieve resident satisfaction and superior property performance.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, partner with university and internal teams, and drive capital improvements to maximize asset value while maintaining a strong work culture.

Qualifications

• 3 years' of leadership experience in student or multi-family housing or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field preferred.
• Skills in leasing and marketing, customer service, facility management, budgeting, supervision, business administration, public relations, residence life, and a combination of business and student development skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for leasing, marketing and facilities operations to meet ACC standards.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, train, coach and develop direct reports.
• Conduct performance evaluations and development plans for staff.
• Collaborate with HR on compensation adjustments for direct reports.
• Oversee property performance to budget and optimize revenue while controlling expenses and vendor costs.
• Engage with university partners and support teams to address concerns and drive improvements.
• Lead resident experience and property administration, including communications and building operations.
• Attend resident events and resolve escalated resident concerns.
