Job summary

RHP Properties in Canton, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general grounds and lawn maintenance and basic home repairs for the College Park Estates community. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and requires coordinated work with the Community Manager.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is preferred, with some tools

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability are required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry preferred.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in restricted spaces.
• On-call availability and valid driving record expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in good condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Maintain grounds and perform seasonal lawn care and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in refurbishment of community-owned homes and repair of water/sewer lines.
• Hold respectful interactions with residents and visitors.
