Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a premier property. You will set standards, coach the team, and drive sales, marketing and operational activities to achieve occupancy targets and strong customer satisfaction.

You will manage budgets, produce performance reports, and nurture relationships with owners, residents, and vendors while differentiating the community from competitors.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries.
• Track record of building, developing and retaining high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, ownership groups and vendors.
• Experience managing a budget and/or P&L.
• Proficiency with industry software (YARDI), apps and computer programs.
• Strong financial skills with a basic knowledge of GAAP.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A sharp professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and set the standards and culture of Bozzuto.
• Inspire the team to achieve occupancy and customer retention goals.
• Manage the property's financial performance per budget.
• Coach team members to understand their role in the big picture.
• Deliver timely financial and operational reports to clients and ownership groups.
• Cultivate strong relationships with owners, residents, employees and vendors.
• Differentiate the community in the marketplace and coach the team accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing to position the community as a destination.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and high community reviews.
• Work weekends monthly with two days off during the week.
• Foster professional growth and encourage knowledge sharing.
