Job summary

InTown Suites North Charleston seeks a General Manager to run daily hotel operations, drive financial performance, and lead a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee front desk, maintenance, and safety while aligning with corporate standards and local market strategies.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and a focus on guest satisfaction, with responsibilities for staffing, training, and operations across the property.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Read, speak, and write English proficiently to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read and interpret reports, forecasts, and financial data.
• Strong math skills for forecasts, occupancy, and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency and familiarity with front office systems.
• Experience leading and training hotel/front desk staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire property staff and supervisors.
• Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure safe, clean, and guest-focused service.
• Manage front office and related departments to deliver high guest satisfaction.
• Monitor revenue, pricing, budgeting, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate maintenance, safety, and compliance with life/safety issues.
• Lead local marketing and community relations to drive occupancy.
