Job summary

OIC Services LLC, based in Indianapolis, seeks a detail-oriented accountant to review, maintain, and analyze the general ledger and financial statements for four to seven mall properties and related entities.

The role entails monthly financial analysis, preparing budgets and forecasts, coordinating the annual operating budget, and distributing reporting packages to joint-venture partners; supports year-end close and audits and mentors junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to meet strict accounting deadlines.
• Proficiency with computer-based accounting and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintains the general ledger accounts for assigned properties.
• Prepare and update monthly financial analysis, including budget and forecast variance.
• Prepare the annual operating budget and update periodic forecasts.
• Distribute reporting packages to joint-venture partners as required.
• Participate in year-end close and other assigned tasks.
• Complete special projects and mentor less experienced staff.
