Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Property & Field Maintenance Technician for Chesapeake Farms in Maryland. This hands-on role supports maintenance, safety, and day-to-day operation of facilities, grounds, equipment, and conservation areas, with outdoor work and physical responsibilities.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, safety inspections, and assisting farming operations and habitat management, while documenting work and maintaining inventories.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, farming, construction, equipment repair, property management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment, machinery, vehicles, and hand tools.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holiday work may be required.

Chesapeake Farms is seeking a Property & Field Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and day-to-day operation of our facilities, grounds, equipment, agricultural operations, and conservation areas. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and contributing to sustainable agriculture and land stewardship.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.

The salary range for this position is $51,605.00 to $64,501.00.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
